Single Mother's Legacy (SML)
Your dream is achieved with skills
This is one of the philanthropic initiatives of GMB LEGACIES. We provide free support to single mothers, whether they are members or applicants who meet the requirements. Although members are given priority, any single mother who wishes to build or improve her skills to increase her chances of finding employment or starting a business is eligible.
Through this NGO program, a number of single mothers – depending on available opportunities – are given the chance to study:
- Fashion design
- Embroidery
- Culinary arts & baking
- Graphic design
- Boilermaking
- Upholstery
- Carpentry
- Welding
- Quantity surveying
- Civil engineering
- And other trades (added over time)
All training is provided at no cost to the single mother. Tools, materials, and certification are fully sponsored by GMB Legacies. Our goal is to empower single mothers with marketable skills, helping them achieve financial independence and a better future for their children.
How to apply: Single mothers can register their interest through the member portal or reach out via our general enquiry channels. Priority is given to active members, but non‑members with genuine need are also considered based on available slots.
